"Amusements Alegria", referred to as "The Lessor".

The Lessee is responsible for the equipment rented.

The Lessee of the equipment must be the user, they cannot sublease or transfer the rental contract without the written consent of the Lessor.

The Lessor remains at all times the owner of the equipment. The Lessee can only use the equipment in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract.

The equipment is rented for the period mentioned in the contract. The rental period begins from the moment the Lessee takes possession of the equipment until the equipment is returned. The Lessee agrees to inform the Lessor if the rental period should exceed the period mentioned in this agreement and to pay the additional fees that will be charged. The Lessor reserves the right to refuse to extend this contract. It is understood that the terms and conditions of this contract will apply until the Lessee returns the equipment to the Lessor. The Lessee must ensure that the equipment is used for the purposes it is intended for.

The Lessee agrees to maintain the rented equipment in a state of conformity and normal use and to perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent any damage.

The Lessee agrees to return the said equipment in the same condition as at the time of rental, except for normal wear and tear.

The Lessee will be responsible for the rented equipment and must keep it locked or under surveillance until the Lessor takes possession of it.

The Lessor shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, loss or injury caused by the rented equipment during use. If the loss of the rented equipment is caused by a defect in it, scientifically and irrefutably proven, the Lessee will not be responsible for damages to the rented equipment, but the rental fees will be calculated in favor of the Lessor until the date of the loss of the rented equipment. The Lessor shall not be liable for any damages or injuries caused by latent defects or system defects on the rented equipment.

In the event that the rented equipment is damaged, a representative of the Lessor will prepare a list of damages and the Lessee will be billed accordingly.

CHARGES FOR LOSSES OR BREAKS 
The Lessee agrees to immediately inform the Lessor (via Facebook messaging or other, email: location@amusementsalegria.ca, or telephone: 514 704 8282) in the event of non-functioning, defects in functioning, or damage to the equipment.

In the event of losses or breaks, the Lessee agrees to pay the Lessor the full cost of repairs in time and materials and/or the cost of replacement of the equipment if applicable.

In the event of theft or inability to return the rented equipment and/or its accessories to the Lessor, the Lessee will be responsible for the full payment of the rental of the equipment. It is agreed that the Lessee will pay the replacement value of the equipment at the time of the loss at the same price the Lessor would pay to replace it without taking into account any depreciation.

PAYMENT 

The total amount of the rental must be paid at the time the Lessee takes possession of the equipment. Also, the payment of a security deposit of the value stipulated by the Lessor, payable in cash or interac. The deposit will be returned to the Lessee at the end of the rental period upon return of the equipment.

The signatory of this rental contract will always remain responsible for the execution of the obligations of this contract.
